Santa Barbara County Vintners Foundation
Since 1983, the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Foundation has worked to establish and maintain Santa Barbara County as a premier wine region of the world. The Santa Barbara Vintners’ Foundation is the umbrella under which the Vintners’ Association conducts its philanthropic work. Proceeds from the auctions held at the annual Vintners’ Festival in spring and the autumn Celebration of Harvest fund several annual grants and scholarships, and support local charities and nonprofit organizations through donations to their auctions and fundraising events.
The Santa Barbara Vintners’ Foundation is honored to be a sponsor of “Vino de Suenos” for Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People.
Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Foundation
Giving back to the community has always been a tradition of the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians. Our elders taught us many important lessons in life – including the fact that a distinguishing characteristic of the Chumash is our spirit of generosity. We call it ‘amuyich.
Today, the Chumash tribe continues with our long-standing tradition of giving. Our tribe has reached out to hundreds of local groups, organizations and schools in the community by donating more than $13 million.
In 2005, the tribe took a significant step by establishing the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Foundation. The goal of our Foundation is to make the community it serves a better place for all of its residents, placing particular value on activities and programs that expand opportunities for the least advantaged, protect our environment or enhance the lives of youth. We are proud to partner here with People Helping People to help local farm and vineyard workers.

Rabobank founded as a cooperative over 100 years ago by enterprising rural people, who had virtually no access to the capital market. Since then, the bank has grown into an international financial service provider with a wide range of products and services, but with the same values at the heart of their banking activities. Sustained autonomous growth is a leading factor in the strategic course that Rabobank Group aims to steer in the coming years. Since Rabobank’s roots lie in agriculture, this strategy centers around our core competence: Food & Agribusiness.

Foxen Winery & Vineyard
Bill Wathen and Dick Doré (also known as the “Foxen Boys”) have been making wine together since 1985, when they founded Foxen Winery & Vineyard at the historic Rancho Tinaquaic in northern Santa Barbara County. Since that time, their dedication has remained the same—the creation of very small production, sustainably-farmed, vineyard-focused wines using a “minimalist” approach to winemaking.
